DIY Cork Board for Wall

I always put sticker notes directly on the wall. But sooner or later they will fall. So I think it is time for me to make a decent heavy duty cork board to put all my notes on it.

The idea actually comes from one of “5 minutes craft channel” on Youtube. They have so many different videos and I love to watch them when I have some spare time.

Materials I used,

  1. 8 Straight Corks

2. Whitewash Framed Wood Wall Decor

Procedure is straightforward. Cut wine corks in half and place it on the wood board as you want. And then use the hot glue gun to fix them. For this size of wood board, I used about 65 pieces corks.

At last I paint the frame and several randomly picked corks with acrylic paint. Wipe the frame with some wipe-on polyurethane. And ta-da~

Now I can enjoy my pinch time~O(∩_∩)O

PS: my mom says it feels like Pharaoh’s tomb……

Hope you like it~:D

I was a chemistry student. After working in industry for a while, I struggle with myself for a really long time. I try to get my mind straight and I finally realize that I want to create in terms of painting and drawing. Although I know that I start it late, I want to keep moving forward. Even just a little bit everyday.
