Discovering print on demand products

I recently discover Society6 website.

In the very beginning when I wanted to provide quality fine art print I chose iprintfromhome. I ordered some samples and liked them. I also liked their drop shipping function. But they only offer paper/canvas based prints. I also uploaded some works on Redbubble at that time but no results. So I moved away from these kind of print on demand websites for a while.

Now as I have more and more works on hand, I need some platform that can provide high quality print on demand. I even checkout with Art Store Fronts, but they are asking a $1000 upfront activation fee and $40 monthly fee afterwards. I’m in no condition of doing that. I tried ArtPal, Imagekind, they only have paper/canvas based prints too. And of course, no results yet on either site. I know I have to promote my works outside those websites to get traffic but my works there are not even searchable sometimes.

Last week I found out Society6 website and gave it a try. Well, it is still too short to see some results but I somehow like it. It has clear size requirements for photos regarding different products. And I do like their wall art options. But the most interesting thing is to see my artworks being printed into household items. It looks fun~!

Although I didn’t make those paintings for such items specifically, some of them are not looking bad (meanwhile some of them look weird…) ^_^ I’m now trying to upload larger size of some pictures so they can activate more products. If you like my work, please check out my print on demand site at Society6. Yes, it is the same link as in <SHOP> page. Also, please let me know if you need me to activate specific items in specific painting.

Hope you enjoy these interesting products and thank you for visiting~ ❤

My paintings are an outlet to express the imagination I have inside my head that I can not put into words. After trying many mediums, I always find myself coming back to paint and brushes. In my current artistic practice, I use oil paint and mainly create portraits of mythical creatures and animals transfixed in the shifting colours of seascapes and landscapes. There is a natural spirit and magic to these creatures and their energy draws me in. Choosing to paint these creatures as real living wildlife rather than abstractions, I use bold and vivid colours to express the imaginary intertwined with reality, finding magic between the seams. Using a saturated colour palette, I create bold and striking imagery, contrasted between foreground and background, subject and landscape, and light and darkness. Weaving their bodies and the surface of the landscape into each other through organic forms and flowing brush strokes, I find beauty, strength and innocence in these creatures that reflect my inner world.
