Initial thoughts
The idea for “The secret fountain “is to paint some glowing water in the dark. It can be the sea like the glowing beach in Puerto Rico. Or maybe rivers, lakes and ponds. But eventually, I pick up fountain because it is more artificial feeling. Unlike the natural water source, a fountain makes you think someone put it there for a purpose. And that worth a story telling.
Digital sketch
The digital sketch finished early. Then it was delayed because I didn’t know if I really wanted to finish this one. In December 2024 I thought it was better if I finished the projects before new year. So I finally put my hands on it. The Rune spell is changed. I can’t find the one when I made the sketch so I choose another one for the final painting.
Summary
The secret fountain is not fountain of youth. 😂 It is more of a healing fountain that hides deep in the plants. The water is glowing pale blue in the night. Birds can find it, animals maybe, but it is hard for people to find.
And that is the last piece for year 2024. I hope I can finish more in year 2025.
